Selection between different Autostart modes
(change with key UP or DOWN):
Autostart:
To automatically adapt the positioner to the valve. Geometric data of the
actuator is determined and optimally assigned to control parameters. If the
"Standard" Autostart does not result in stable regulation, another Autostart
mode - depending upon actuator - should be selected. At

initial start-up,

an Autostart should always be performed.

Attention: Autostart overwrites previous control parameters!

With key UP or DOWN to other Autostart modes:

2.1 Ready for "End points" Autostart:
Serves for automatic adjustment of the SRD to the mechanical end points.

To avoid any personal injury or property damage from sudden or fast
movement, during autostart:
Do not put your finger or other part at any time inside the valve or in
any moving part of the actuator. Do not put your finger or other part
at any time in the feedback lever mechanism. Do not touch the rear
part of the positioner at any time.

After selection and start (by pressing the UP+DOWN keys) the function
taking several minutes can be followed at LCD or the green LEDs.
Duration on a valve position can take some time depending on actuator
volume, air supply, pressure, etc.
