4. Connect the other end of the SCSI cable to the appropriate external
SCSI connector on the rear panel of the external storage device.

5. Reconnect the power cords and take the computer out of Standby. See
Chapter 2, “Installing the Server in a Rack,” for more information.
6. Restore power to the external storage device.
7. To configure the device, run the ROM-Based Setup Utility (RBSU).
Refer to the Server Setup and Management pack shipped with your
server to run the RBSU.
NOTE: Systems that use RBSU do not support the System Configuration Utility. For
additional information on using ROM-Based Setup Utility, refer to the Compaq ROM-Based
Setup Utility User Guide located on the Documentation CD.
