To upgrade software
on legacy appliances 1. Click the Setup Appliances tab to expand the Setup Appliances menu.
2. Under Legacy in the left menu, click Upgrade Software to display the Legacy -
Upgrade Software page.

3. Use the controls to select a software image and remote appliances for upgrade, as
described in the following table.
Control Description
Legacy Appliance Group Select All or another legacy group name from the drop-down list.
Software Image URL Type the URL for the software upgrade image in the text box. You can specify HTTP or
FTP protocols.
Upgrade Appliance Click Upgrade Appliance to start the upgrade.
Legacy Appliance Group Select All or another legacy group name from the drop-down list.
Clean Data Store Optionally, check the Clean Data Store box to clean the data store of data on the next
reboot.
Reboot Appliances Click Reboot Appliances to reboot the legacy appliance. You must reboot your legacy
appliances for the software upgrade process to be complete.
