3. Use the controls to assign appliances to one or more groups, as described in the
following table.
4. To apply group assignments, click Apply.
5. To save the settings permanently, click Save.
To revert to the running configuration, click Reset.
Configuring Remote Appliances
This section describes how to configure remote HP EFS WAN Accelerators and add
them to the HP EFS WAN Accelerator Manager-managed system. It includes the

Registering
Appliances
You register remote HP EFS WAN Accelerators with the HP EFS WAN Accelerator
Manager in the Appliances page.
Control Description
Toolbar Click this button to remove selected appliances from group assignments.
Appliances removed from all group assignments are automatically placed in the
Orphans group.
Click this button to expand the list of appliances in groups.
Click this button to hide the list of appliances in groups.
Group List. Select the group to which to move or copy the selected appliances from the
drop-down list.
MoveSelected to or Copy Selected to. Use these buttons to move or copy selected
appliances to the group specified in the adjacent drop-down list.
Appliance list The Appliance list displays group assignments for appliances. Appliances with no group
assignment appear in the Orphans group.
To select appliances:
• Check the Group box to select all appliances.
• CTRL -click a Group name to select all appliances in the group.
• Check the box next to an appliance you want to move into a new group.
• CTRL -click the box next to an appliance you want to copy into a new group.
Note: You cannot modify the all group, and the all group does not appear in the group
list.
