Connect RideThru Option Wiring
The Unison RideThru Option board is provided with a wiring harness for connection
between the option board and the right I/O board.
Step 1:
Connect one end of the wiring harness to the two pin receptacle on the option
board.
Step 2:
Connect the other end of the wiring harness to the two pin receptacle labeled
“RideThru/Batt” on the right I/O board.

Secure the wiring harness to the DRd enclosure using the cable tie and cable
tie mounts supplied with the RideThru Option board.
BatteryPack Option Kit
Install the BatteryPack Option Kit
Step 1:
The BatteryPack Option board is provided with a wiring harness for connection
between the BatteryPack and the right I/O board. Install the wiring harness and
connector into the enclosure (the connector is keyed for proper orientation).
N o t e :
A single DRd supports the use of either the Unison RideThru Option or the Unison
BatteryPack Option, but not both in the same enclosure.

Step 1:
The BatteryPack Option kit provides sustained battery power to
the Architectural Control Processor for up to 90 minutes during
power outages. The self-contained battery installs on the bottom
of the host DRd enclosure.
