The UL5000 is controlled via the Digital In connector (See Chapter

6.6.4.2

).

The START, STOP and ZERO buttons at the control panel are locked.

Softkey 3:

RS232

The UL5000 is controlled via RS232 interface by an external computer. In
this mode the UL5000 can not be controlled via keyboard. The START,
STOP and ZERO button at the machine are deactivated.

Softkey 5:

Local & PLC

The UL5000 is controlled via the Digital In connector or the START, STOP
and ZERO buttons at the control panel.

Softkey 6:

Local & RS232

The UL5000 is controlled via the Digital In connector or the START, STOP
and ZERO buttons at the control panel.

Softkey 7:

Local

The UL5000 is controlled via the START, STOP and ZERO buttons at the
control panel. The Digital In connector is not used.
