Entering a Numerical Value

1.

Select the parameter for which you want to enter the numerical value.

2.

Press the

OK button.

The current value from the mantissa and exponent flashes.

3.

Press the

OK button.

With positive numbers, the first digit of the mantissa

flashes. With negative numbers, the minus sign flashes.

4.

To change the value in steps from 0 to 9, press the  or  button.

To enter a minus sign, press the  until the first digit is less than 0.

5.

Confirm your selection with

OK.

The next digit of the mantissa flashes.

6.

Repeat steps 4 and 5, until all digits have been entered.

7.

Confirm your entry with

OK.

The position of the decimal point flashes.

8.

Press the  or  button to specify the position of the decimal
point.

9.

Confirm your entry with

OK.

The exponent flashes.

10. To specify the value of the exponent, press the  or  button. You can select

the exponents from E-33 to E33 in increments of three.

11. Confirm your entry with

OK.

The new value is stored.
