4. Remove the item from the scale and the
displayed weight should return to “0.00” and
the scale is ready for the next item.
Net Weighing (with a container)
1. With the scale at zero “0.00,” place the
container on the scale. When stable, the dis-
play will indicate the container weight (tare
weight).
2. Press the ZERO key and the scale will again
display zero “0.00.”
3. Place the item(s) to be weighed in the
container.
4. When the displayed weight has stabilized, it
will show as the net weight.
5. Remove all items from the container. Place the
container back on the scale and the display
should again display zero “0.00” and the pro-
cess can be repeated.
6. When the container is removed, the scale will
display the container weight or tare weight (as
a negative number due to the zeroing in Step
2). Press the ZERO key and the scale will again
display zero “0.00.”
Item/Portion (Building) Weighing
1. With the scale at zero “0.00,” place the con-
tainer or first item/portion on the scale.
2. When the required weight measurement is
achieved, press the ZERO key and the scale
will again display zero “0.00.”
3. Place the next item/portion on the scale.
