From “FILT” press the ZERO key twice…
“SENSOR” is displayed
(only on equipped models).
From this routine you can adjust the sensitivity, view
the current sensitivity value, turn off the photoeye,
or turn on the photoeye if previously turned off
manually.
To access the sensor menu press the TEST key.
“TEACH” is displayed.
To adjust the sensitivity of the photoeye in the cur-
rent light conditions, place the palm of your hand
over the sensor at the distance away from the
display that you desire to zero the scale.
With your other hand, press the TEST key again
and the scale display will start at a minimum
sensitivity value of “01” and then start incrementing
up to a maximum of “15.” It will stop when the
sensor detects your hand and the setting is saved.
The further away your hand is placed, the higher
the sensitivity setting will be. The sensor calibra-
tion data is saved and…
“TEACH” will again be displayed.
Press the ZERO key
“STATUS” is displayed.
To view the current sensor status and sensitivity
value, press the TEST key. The sensor status ”SEN-
X” will be displayed followed by the current sensi-
tivity value “SET-XX.” “XX” is a value between 01
and 15 with 01 being the least and 15 the most
sensitive to a change in the light conditions. The
display will return to the “TEACH” prompt again.
Press the ZERO key until…
“ON-OFF” is displayed.
