Press the TEST key to return to normal operation
without performing any of the above functions.
The TEST key is also used to select an item or
feature when in one of the Menu modes.
The “Touchless Zero” photoeye will perform the
same function as the ZERO key when in the
normal weighing mode. The photo sensor is
located to the right of the ZERO key and just above
the international symbol for zero “->0<-.” The
operating range of the “Touchless Zero” photoeye
is between 20 and 250 lumens (candles). If the
ambient light conditions are such that the photoeye
circuitry cannot function properly, the sensor is
temporarily disabled and the message “SEN-3” is
flashed momentarily. This can happen if the room
lighting is very dim, off, or if the photoeye is blocked
for more than 10 seconds. When the normal
operating conditions return the sensor will auto-
matically re-enable, and the message “SEN-4” is
flashed momentarily.
The sensor is temporarily disabled when in the
Menu modes and cannot be used to scroll through
the selections.
The zero push-button, or footswitch, will use the
I/O port for connection to the scale. Pressing the
remote zero switch will perform a zero weight re-
quest when in the normal operating mode. The
remote zero switch is temporarily disabled when
in the Menu mode and cannot be used to scroll
through the selections.
