1. Check carton for any obvious evidence of
damage.
2. Remove contents from the shipping carton.
3. Inspect the unit for shipping damage. Immedi-
ately report any damage to the shipper.
1. Mount the unit on a stable, level surface that is
free from air currents and vibration. Be sure the
weigh surface does not touch any adjacent
surfaces.
2. Ensure all feet are in firm contact with the
counter.
3. Make sure the weigh platter is on the scale base.
4. Plug the display cable into the remote display
port (modular RJ45) on the electronics
enclosure. The display will not function
unless plugged into the scale prior to applying
power.
5. Secure any optional remote zero cable or serial
communication cable into the I/O port (9P-DB).
6. Ensure the power cord, display cable, or
other optional cable are not touching the live
weighing surface.
7. Secure the display bracket, if supplied, to the
scale base as necessary.
