Press the ZERO key to scroll to the I/O test. “I/O” is
displayed. With a loopback connector in place,
press the TEST key to perform the I/O test. “PASS”
or “FAIL” is temporarily displayed. If the test fails,
the unit may have a serial interface failure. The scale
will return to the ”DISP” test prompt.

Press ZERO key to scroll to internal counts test.
“A/D” is displayed. Tests for A/D data. Press TEST
key to perform this test. This is for factory use only.
Indicates the internal raw weight load data. The
unit has 65,000 internal counts. The display will
flash the message “DIAG” every few seconds while
in this mode to indicate the value displayed is not
actual weight. Press the TEST key to end the test
and the “DISP” test prompt is displayed.

The Configuration (CONF) Mode menu lets you
configure your scale to your specific application
needs. The items you can configure are as follows:

Filter (FILT) – Adjusts scale response to fit environ-
ment. Factory default setting is FAST.

Baud (BAUD) – Allows selection of appropriate baud
rate and parity setting for computer interface.
Factory default setting is 96-E.

Sensor (SENSOR) – Allows setting of photoeye
sensitivity for zeroing the scale.

operating mode from
any main menu DIAG,
CONF, CAL, or UNITS,
press the ZERO key to
scroll to “DONE” and
