The Units (UNITS) Mode menu lets you change
between pounds and ounces without the use of
calibration weights. The scale must be currently
operating in pounds or ounces to allow a unit of
measure change.

From normal weighing mode, press SW-1…

“DIAG” is displayed.

Press the ZERO key until…

“UNITS” is displayed.

Calibration Span

Requirements

The internal count value of
the calibration test points for
zero and span must provide
a minimum 5% net count
change, or the message
“CAL” “ERROR” “ABORT”
is flashed on the display and
the previous calibration data
is restored. This is done to
insure that a calibration
weight is placed on the
scale for the span value and
to avoid loading of invalid
calibration data into memory.
