Press the TEST key to access the Units menu. If
the scale is currently in the gram unit of measure,
the display will flash “CAN’T” and then return to
displaying “DIAG” again.
“LB or “OUNCE” is displayed depending on the
current operating unit of measure.
Press the ZERO key to toggle between the two
selections, and then press the TEST key to accept
the new unit of measure.
“DIAG” is displayed again.
Press the ZERO key until…
“DONE” is displayed, and then press TEST to
return to normal operation.
The NCI 61xx series scales come factory config-
ured as a serial RS-232 interface device. There is a
one 9-pin DE type female connector accessible at
the rear of the unit. See factory for interface proto-
col. The functional pinout of this cable is that of a
standard PC pass through (not a null modem).
