4. When the required weight measurement is
achieved, press the ZERO key and the scale
will again display zero “0.00.”
5. Continue the same sequence until finished.
6. When finished, remove all items from the scale
and the total negative gross weight of the items
will be displayed. Press the ZERO key and the
scale will display zero “0.00” again.
Pressing the ZERO key, holding your hand over
the photo sensor or pressing the remote zero push-
button (if equipped) will perform the scale zero
weight request function. Pressing the ZERO key
will establish zero “0.00” on the display with any
weight on the platter. If the scale is not stable and
the weight value is changing when a zero request
is made, the unit will latch the request for up to 10
seconds. If the weight stabilizes within this
timeframe then the zero “0.00” will occur. Other-
wise, an error message “Err-4” will be flashed and
the zero request will not occur. The zero request is
ignored if the display is currently on zero “0.00” to
allow the UNDO 0 feature to function properly. The
ZERO key is also used to scroll through the
selections when in the Menu mode.
The TEST key provides several different functions
for the user. The user can “undo” an inadvertent
zero function, adjust or reset the status of the
photoeye sensor, or perform a display test and
status recall feature.
