If you are already at the Port Filters screen, type M and press Enter. To access the previous set
of filters, type P and press Enter.
To set the port filters, type the filter item number (1 to 12) and press Enter.
NOTE: These filters are for both User and Network ports. You cannot set a filter
for only one type of port.
1. STP MSTP RSTP BPDU Filter These protocols may co-exist on a carrier network. When this
attribute is enabled, the 9145E filters packets related to any of these protocols:
• STP (Spanning Tree Protocol)
• MSTP (Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol)
• RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol)
• BPDU (Bridge protocol data units)
2. Pause Filter When this attribute is enabled, the 9145E filters all Pause frames.
3. LACP Filter When this attribute is enabled, the 9145E filters all Link Aggregation Control Protocol
frames.

To access the More Port Filters screen, at the main menu enter:
