11.2.1 Enclosed CDs
In the shipping box of each Centellis 2000 shelf/system, a CD with the ATCA-MF105 firmware
is enclosed:
In the case of a Centellis 2000 system equipped with node blades, an additional CD for the
node blades is delivered. It includes the following packages:
 Blade-specific HPI-B package
 pxelinux
 Boot file system
 Documentation
11.2.2 BBS Installation
If your Centellis 2000 shelf is equipped with Artesyn Embedded Technologies node blades, you
need to install the Basic Blade Services (BBS) software on the node blades as described in the
respective Basic Blade Services Software Programmer’s Reference. The BBS installation
automatically installs all necessary files. BBS images must be installed on hard disks.
For details on the installation, see chapter DHCP Configuration and Network Boot on page 139 .
11.2.3 Firmware Upgrade
The procedures and tools for software upgrades differ depending on what component needs
to be upgraded. Available tools for firmware upgrades are:
 FCU: part of BBS
 FUMI: part of HPI-B
 fw_tool: integrated in the ATCA-MF105 root file system
The firmware and the BBS software must match. Update the firmware if required.
