Digital Outputs (Register 11, Bits 02 & 03 [S]; Register 11, 02-08, 10 [R]))
Four latching digital outputs are provided to control external equipment; S1a, S1b, S2a, S2b as standard. Two
contacts may be individually configured for normally open, normally closed, or blinker operation. The remaining two
contacts are complementary. These are normally configured to trip when the valve reaches the OPEN and CLOSED
positions. However, the configuration may be changed to “DDC CONTROLLED,” in which case these contacts may be
opened and closed over the network. Each of the digital outputs may be configured for one of the following functions:
Closed, Closing, Mid-travel, Open, Opening, Stopped, Valve moving, Local selected, Local STOP/OFF, Manual opera-
tion, Valve jammed, Remote selected, Motor overtemp, Overtorque, Open torque switch, Close torque switch, ESD
signal, Open inhibit, Close inhibit, Lost phase, No analog signal, Hardware failure, Network controlled, CSE controlled.
See LMENIM2306, MX Installation and Operation Manual. Register 11 is used only for status (read-only).

When the optional relay board is supplied and the relays are enabled, up to eight latching relays may be monitored or
controlled. (See Table 3.7.)

Each of the digital outputs may be configured for one of the following functions: Closed, Closing, Mid-travel, Open,
Opening, Stopped, Valve moving, Local selected, Local STOP/OFF, Manual operation, Valve jammed, Remote selected,
Motor overtemp, Overtorque, Open torque switch, Close torque switch, ESD signal, Open inhibit, Close inhibit, Lost
phase, No analog signal, Hardware failure, Network controlled, CSE controlled.

NOTE: Digital outputs must have corresponding digital feedback (digital input) to verify digital output position.
