Navigating the SmartView Portal
The SmartView Portal uses two main methods of navigation: the Hierarchy approach (drill down to status
information); and the Monitor approach (view it all in a list). Both approaches use a system of icons and
other indicators to display status information. These conventions are consistently used throughout the
entire application, regardless of which way you use the application.
In the view shown below (a system view) all of the indicators are highlighted. The descriptions for each
indicator follow the images:

The H OME button takes you to back to the Home view. As you navigate further, another button will
appear, the U P button. This button will take you to one level above the current view.
