Configuring basic device settings
The device basic information feature allows you to perform the following operations:
•
Set the system name of the device. The configured system name is displayed on the top of the
navigation bar.
•
Set the idle timeout period for logged-in users. The system logs an idle user off the Web for security
purpose after the configured period.
Configuring system name
1.
From the navigation tree, select Device > Basic.
The system name configuration page appears.

Enter the system name.
Click Apply.
Configuring idle timeout period
1.
From the navigation tree, select Device > Basic.
2.
Click the Web Idle Timeout tab.
The page for configuring idle timeout period appears.
