Appendix 3.6 Hold/Clear Mode Switch
The PCLINK-01 DIP switch (S1-3) "HOLD" selects whether to hold or clear the initial value data in cases where the
data from other stations on the PCLINK line exceeds the token monitoring time, and cannot be received. However, in
the MP2000 series, holding and clearing of data will be performed regardless of this switch. Perform setting of the
holding scan in the MPE720 engineering tool. Unlimited holding at error is not possible in the MP2000 series. Holding
will be done to a maximum 255 scan times. The input data will be cleared when the set scan time has been exceeded
even if the PCLINK-01 is in a holding mode switch state. Conversely, the previous value will continue to be held if within
the set scan time even if the PCLINK-01 is in a clear mode switch state.
