A-B REPEAT PLAYBACK

The remote control A-B button can be used to activate A-B
repeat playback from a user-defined start time (point A) to a
user-defined end time (point B). A-B repeat playback can be
configured to repeat playback of the user-defined playback
loop once or continuously.

A-B repeat playback is not available for Video CDs and SVCDs
that include PBC menus.

A-B repeat playback is automatically deactivated when:

random or repeat playback is activated

the remote control CLEAR, STOP, PREV, NEXT, RANDOM,
or REPEAT button is pressed

To activate A-B repeat playback:

1. When playback is activated, press the A-B button at the desired

start time (point A). The Memory bar shown below (left) will
open at the top of the on-screen display to indicate that a start
time has been selected.

To repeat the user-defined playback loop once, proceed to
step 2.

To repeat the user-defined playback loop continuously,
proceed to step 3.

2. Press the Play button at the desired end time (point B). The

Repeat Memory bar shown below (center) will open at the top
of the on-screen display to indicate that an end time (point B)
has been selected. When the Repeat Memory bar opens, A-B
repeat playback is automatically activated. When the user-
defined end time (point B) is reached, regular playback is
automatically activated at that time. Proceed to step 4.

3. Press the A-B button again at the desired end time (point B).

The Repeat A-B bar shown below (right) will open at the top of
the on-screen display to indicate that an end time (point B) has
been selected. When the Repeat A-B bar opens, A-B repeat
playback is automatically activated. Repeat playback of the
user-defined playback loop continues until A-B repeat playback
is deactivated. The instructions end here.

4. To redefine the end time (point B), press the A-B button again

at the desired end time. The Repeat A-B bar shown below
(right) will open at the top of the on-screen display to indicate
that a new end time (point B) has been selected. When the
Repeat A-B bar opens, A-B repeat playback is automatically
reactivated, beginning with the start time (point A) selected in
step 1 and continuing until the end time selected in this step is
reached.
