Auto Disc Menu

On, Off

Enables and disables automatic opening of DVD menus and top
menus. This parameter has no effect on other disc formats or on
DVDs that do not include menus or top menus.

When On is selected, DVD menus and top menus automatically
open on the on-screen display when a DVD that includes menus or
top menus is loaded. When Off is selected, DVD menus and top
menus do not automatically open on the on-screen display when a
DVD that includes menus or top menus is loaded. In either case,
the remote control MENU and TOP MENU buttons can still be used
to open and close disc menus and top menus. Refer to the
Navigating Disc Menus section that begins on page 4-3 for more
information.

Note:

Some DVDs include menus and top menus that
automatically open on the on-screen display when
the disc is loaded, regardless of the Auto Disc Menu
parameter setting.

Group Playback

All, Single

Controls playback of DVD-A groups. This parameter has no effect
on other disc formats or on DVD-As that include just one group of
tracks.

DVD-As can include up to nine groups of tracks. Select All to
automatically begin playback of the next group when playback of
the selected group ends. Playback will continue until playback of
the disc ends. Select Single to automatically activate stop mode
when playback of the selected group ends. In some cases, the disc
menu or top menu will open on the on-screen display when
playback ends.

Note:

When the disc menu or top menu is used to select a
group for playback, stop mode is automatically
activated when playback of the selected group ends,
regardless of the Group Playback parameter setting.
