If a shortcut cannot be created for the highlighted
parameter, the icon shown at the right will
appear on the on-screen display. Shortcuts cannot
be created for the Setup menu parameters listed
in the Note: in the previous column.

To use a Setup menu shortcut:

1. If the Setup menu is closed, proceed to step 2. If the Setup

menu is open, press the remote control SETUP button to close
the Setup menu. Setup menu shortcuts cannot be used when
the Setup menu is open.

2. When the Setup menu is closed, press the remote control

F.MEMO button to open the Function Memory tab shown
above. The Function Memory tab lists all Setup menu
parameters for which a shortcut has been created.

3. When the Function Memory tab opens, press the remote

control

and

arrows to highlight the desired shortcut.

Then, press the remote control ENTER button to select that
shortcut. The Setup menu will open on the on-screen display,
highlighting the corresponding parameter.

SETUP MENU SHORTCUTS

The remote control F.MEMO button can be used to create up to
five shortcuts for Setup menu parameters. These shortcuts provide
convenient access to frequently adjusted Setup menu parameters
without navigating through the entire Setup menu.

Note:

Shortcuts cannot be created for the following Setup
menu parameters: Linear PCM Out, SACD Playback,
TV Screen, Audio Language, Subtitle Language, Auto
Language, DVD Language, Subtitle Display, Subtitle
Off, Setup Navigator, Parental Lock, Bonus Group,
and Group Playback.

To create and delete Setup menu shortcuts:

1. When the Setup menu is open, highlight the desired parameter

for which to create or delete a shortcut.

Shortcuts can be created for up to five Setup menu
parameters, excluding those listed in the Note: above.

Shortcuts can be deleted for Setup menu
parameters for which a shortcut has been
created. The icon shown at the right appears
to the left of the parameter label when a
shortcut has been created for that parameter.

2. When the desired parameter is highlighted, press the remote

control F.MEMO button.

If a shortcut can be created for the highlighted parameter
the icon shown above will appear to the left of the
parameter label.

If a shortcut has already been created for the highlighted
parameter, the icon will shown above disappear from the
left of the parameter label.
