5. Move the cursor to PARITY, then select a check mode

with the A or B button.

Checked with odd parity.

EVEN:

Checked with even parity.

6. Move the cursor to MODE, then select a data communi-

cation protocol with the A or B button. When PSD is
selected, set the DIP switch #4 to OFF on the rear of
the WJ-NT204 transmitter.
The default setting is PSD.

7. Move the cursor to RS485 UNIT #, then enter a number

with the numeric buttons. The number can range from
002 to 999. The default setting is 002.
This item appears only when PSD is selected in the
MODE above.
This number needs not to be the same among the
transmitter and receiver because that this is referred
only for the re-sending address when a collision arises.

422 HOST PORT

The DIP switch #9 on the front of the unit specifies the
usable serial port from RS-232C (front) or RS-485 (rear)
(PS

Data). The settings below must be the same among the

devices connected in the chain, except the unit #.

1. Open the 422 HOST PORT menu.

2. Move the cursor to RATE, then select a Baud rate with

the A or B button.
The default setting is 9600.

4800:

4800 bps (bit per second)

9600:

9600 bps

19200:

19200 bps

DATA BITS, STOP BITS and PARITY are not change-
able.

3. Move the cursor to RS-485 UNIT #, then enter a num-

ber with the numeric buttons. The number can range
from 001 to 999. The default setting is 001.

430 VIDEO SWITCH SETUP (Transmitter only)

Up to 8 video switches can be set in this menu for the

TRANSMITTER

unit in the Remote site. A video switch rep-

resents a set of information including the camera number,
its preset position, alarm reception and associated trigger
output.
While the unit is in communication, the Control site can
select the registered video switches with the numeric but-
tons. The unit sends the designated image to the Control
site while it supplies the trigger outputs to the connected
device.
A video switch can be linked with the alarm input.

1. Open the 430 VIDEO SWITCH SETUP menu. There are

8 video switch numbers (No.)

2. Move the cursor to the left end of the No.1 line.

3. Press the ENTER button to toggle the video switch

entry.

4. Move the cursor to CAM area, then enter a camera

number with the numeric buttons.

5. Move the cursor to PRST (preset position) area, then

enter a position number with the numeric buttons.
Preset position control is available only for the
Combination Cameras. Position setting is required for
the camera in advance. Press the DEL button when you
do not have to set.

6. Move the cursor to TRG (trigger output) area, then

enter an output number with the numeric buttons.
When the unit designated the video switch, trigger out-
put terminal will be active on the rear panel to control
connected device such as a Video Multiplexer.
