Flood basin
The max. high water to be expected deter-
mines the installation height to keep the min.
distance of the transducer even with highest
high water.
The low water edge should be covered in the
transducer range with a shield.
Inflowing material
Do not mount the instrument in or above the
filling stream. Ensure that you detect the
product surface and note the inflowing mate-
rial.
Build-up
If the sensor is mounted too close to the
vessel wall, build-up on the vessel walls
causes false echoes. Position the sensor in a
sufficient distance to the vessel wall. Also
note chapter "4.1 General installation instruc-
tions".
