You can carry out the min./max. adjustment
"

with medium" (adjustment by means of a

definite level) or

"without medium" (without

considering the definite level, also with empty
vessel).

Generally the adjustment is carried out with-
out medium whereby during adjustment you
are completely independent from the actual
vessel filling.
If you want to carry out the adjustment with
medium, you have to carry out the min. ad-
justment with emptied (also partly emptied)
vessel and the max. adjustment with filled
(also partly filled) vessel.
It is hence comfortable and quick to carry out
the adjustment without medium as shown in
the example.

• Choose "no (adjustment without medium)"
• Choose in the following window if you want

to make the adjustment in meters (m) or in
feet (ft).

• Enter a distance for the upper and lower

level and the appropriate filling degree in
%.

In the example the 0 % filling corresponds to
a product distance of 3,400 m and the 100 %
filling to a product distance of 0,500 m.

Note:
The sensor can only detect levels within the
defined operating range. For level detection
outside the operating range, the operating
range must be corrected appropriately in the
menu "S

ensor optimisation/Meas. environ-

ment" on page 52/53.

• Confirm your adjustments with "OK" and

you are now again in the menu window
"

Adjustment".

• Click in the menu window "Adjustment" to

"Quit".

You are now again in the menu window "

In-

strument data parameter adjustment".
