2 Types and versions
2.1 Survey
VEGASON series 50 sensors are a newly
developed generation of very compact, small
ultrasonic sensors. With very narrow space
requirements, they are designed for short
meas. distances (0 ... 15 m) and for standard
applications such as storage tanks, gauge
measurement and buffer tanks.
Due to the small housing dimensions and
process connections the compact sensors
monitor very price favourable your levels.
With the integral indication and the many
features of the "big brothers" of VEGASON
series 80, they open the advantages of an
ultrasonic measurement for applications
where the special advantages of a non-con-
tact measurement were not applicable due to
price reasons.
VEGASON 50 ultrasonic sensors dominate
the two-wire technology perfectly. The supply
voltage and the digital output signal are
transmitted via one two-wire line to the con-
nected signal conditioning instrument
VEGAMET or the processing system
VEGALOG.
