nput position adjustment - the pressure difference betwen

zero (set value) and measured pressure must not be known
(

there is a reference pressure on the instrument).

Example:

l MEASURED VALUE = 0.5 mbar
l For the parameter POS. INPUT VALUE you enter the

requested set value for the MEASURED VALUE, e.g.
2

mbar (valid: MEASURED VALUEnew = POS. INPUT

VALUE)

l MEASURED VALUE (after pos. zero adjust) = 2 mbar
l The parameter CALIB. OFFSET shows the resulting

pressure difference (offset) by which the MEASURED
VALUE

was corrected. This applies: CALIB. OFFSET =

MEASURED VALUE

old - POSITION POS. INPUT

VALUE,

here: CALIB. OFFSET = 0.5 mbar -2 mbar =

-1.5

mbar)

l The current value is also corrected

I

nput position adjustment - the pressure difference between

zero (set value) and measured pressure is known (there is a
reference pressure on the instrument).
Example:

l MEASURED VALUE = 2.2 mbar
l Via the parameter CALIB. OFFSET you enter the value by

which the MEASURED VALUE should be corrected. To
correct the MEASURED VALUE to 0 mbar, you have to
enter the value 2.2 (valid: MEASURED VALUEnew =
MEASURED VALUE

old - CALIB. OFFSET)

l MEASURED VALUE (after adjustment for calib. offset) =

0

mbar

l The current value is also corrected

Note:
N

ormally, VEGADIF 55 is used in the basic version for flow

measurements.

B

efore adjusting VEGADIF 55, you have to clean the effective

pressure lines and the instrument must be filled with the medium.
