Selecting Lock mode 2 or toggling between mode 2 and mode 1

NOTE: If the switcher is in Lock mode 0 or mode 1, this procedure selects mode 2.

If the switcher is in Lock mode 2, this procedure selects mode 1

.

Toggle the lock on and off by pressing and holding the Video button and the Audio button
simultaneously for approximately 2 seconds (see figure 21).

Press and

hold the Video and Audio buttons

simultaneously to turn on Lock mode 2 or to
toggle between mode 1 and mode 2.

The Video and Audio
buttons blink twice to
indicate the mode
change.
Release the buttons.

Performing a System Reset from the Front Panel

The front panel reset is identical to the

EZXXX}

SIS command.

A system reset performs all of the following functions:

Clears all ties and presets

z

z

Clears all audio or RS-232 mutes

z

z

Resets all I/O grouping

z

z

Resets all input level and peaking to zero

z

z

Resets all input and output skew adjustments to zero.

z

z

Resets all output pre-peaking to off

z

z

Disables all RS-232 output inserts

z

z

Sets all audio/RS-232 wire pair inputs to audio

z

z

Resets all input audio levels to unity gain (0 dB)

z

z

Sets all output volume levels to 100% (0 dB of attenuation)

NOTES:

System reset does not reset the Internet protocol (IP) settings or replace

user-installed firmware.

The system reset clears most image and audio adjustments. If you want

to save these settings, use the Windows-based Matrix Switchers Control
Program and the

File

>

Save MATRIX settings as...

selection before

you perform this reset (see the “

Matrix Software

” section).
