The CPU/Process busy details displays the CPUs utilized during the collection and the CPU Busy
statistics that were measured during the collection. This information can be used to fine tune the
runtime parameters for SA. The following information is shown:

 CPU Busy Graph – graph displaying the avg/peak busy measurements of the utilized CPU(s)
 CPU Busy Avg/Peak Table – table displaying the avg/peak busy measurements of the utilized

CPU(s)

 Process Busy Graph – graph displaying the avg/peak busy measurements of the processes

running on each of the utilized CPU(s)

 Process Busy Avg/Peak Table – table displaying the avg/peak busy measurements of the

processes running on each of the utilized CPU(s)

3-2-3 Alert Admin

The Alert Admin displays alert definitions set by a user with administrator privilege. Using a
combination of the Alert features of Storage Analyzer and Web Viewpoint a user can define
particular EMS events and subscriptions/notifications to trigger Email or EMS advisories to support
staff. This requires configuration setup within both Storage Analyzer (described below) and Web
Viewpoint.

The Alert Admin screen can be accessed via Web Viewpoint by clicking on the Admin-> SA Alert
Admin. The Alert Admin has four tabs for Disk, File and one for specifying Alert exclusion criteria, as
shown below:
