4-8 Sub Volume Trending
This section explains the graphical trending of sub volume attributes belonging to a particular disk on
the current node.
4-8-1 Overview
Similar to disks, sub volume attributes can be analyzed by charting them over a period of time. The
users can then see the trend for its utilization.
4-8-2 Description
The Sub volume trending window is similar to Disk trending with regards to functionality.
Clicking on the trend icon when the Central Display displays information for all sub volumes
belonging to a disk, brings up a window which enables the user to trend sub volumes for a specified
time period based on a sub volume attribute.
By default, the last 7 days of available data for the “Total size” attribute is displayed when the trend
is charted for the specified sub volume(s).
The sub volume trend icon is visible for both the tabs i.e. Properties and Sub volumes.
