WVP NonStop Storage Analyzer User Guide – 536988-001

- 58 -

Below the charts, a table is displayed which summarizes the file and size usage for each group.

The first column in this table is the group ID, the second column displays the corresponding group
name, third column displays the total size (in MB) consumed by that group and the fourth column
displays the number of files that are owned by that group.

The group number in the table is a clickable link which displays a pop-up with a table displaying all
the users for that group and the utilization by each user.

Figure 4-41 Archived Physical Disks Utilization per Group and per User.

Considerations:

1. Only the users that are consuming actual resources on the disk are reported. So, a group

might have 10 users but only 5 of them might show up in the user-utilization drilldown window.

2. It is also possible that some of the users were deleted from the group/system but there are

still old files under their ownership, in such a case the username field will be left blank, as
shown in the figure above. Another reason for such a blank entry might mean that the file was
copied/unpacked from some other system that had a user which does not exist on the system
being monitored by Storage Analyzer.
