Sony Corporation. It adopts the MTF

measurement system for video camera and
offers a quality as the Carl Zeiss lens.
The lens for your camcorder is also T*-coated to suppress unwanted reflection and
faithfully reproduce colors.

MTF stands for Modulation Transfer Function.
The value number indicates the amount of light of a subject coming into the lens.
