Binary Parameter

The dialog used for a binary type of parameter, typical of

Figure 33

,

shows a

descriptive string for each bit position within the parameter. The ‘A’ column
shows the actual state of the bit. The ‘N’ column shows the new value that has
not yet been applied.

To change the state of a bit:

Click the ‘N’ check box for the appropriate bit.

Apply and OK applies the changes in the ‘N’ column to the actual
parameter.

To leave the dialog without applying any outstanding changes to the
parameter, click Cancel.

Enum Parameter

An enum parameter shows a descriptive text for each value within the range of
the parameter. The dialog used for an enum parameter is typical of

To quickly clear all bits, click Reset All.

To set all bits, click Set All.
