2.2

The Display

OIM screens allow you to program and monitor the drive. Figure 2.2 shows the OIM
display at the Main Menu in program mode.

The display contains three main areas:

the normal display area, where the program or monitor mode information is
displayed. See chapter 4 for information on program mode. See chapter 6 for
information on monitor mode.

the status indicator area. See section 2.2.1 for more information.

the key indicator area. See section 2.2.2 for more information

2.2.1 Drive Status Indicators

The drive status indicators on the right side of the display allow you to quickly check
the status of the drive. In figure 2.2, the Interlock OK and Drive Ready indicators are
on. Drive status indicators are described in table 2.3.
