3. If it is currently not started, close XmLink and do one of the following:
• If the Startup Type is Manual or Automatic, right-click Jeppesen
Weather Controller Services and choose Start from the drop-down
menu.
• If the Startup Type is Disabled:
A. Right-click Jeppesen Weather Controller Services and choose Properties
from the drop-down menu.
B. In the General tab, select Automatic or Manual from the Startup type
drop-down list.
C. Click Apply, and then OK.
D. Right-click Jeppesen Weather Controller Services and choose Start from
the shortcut menu.
E. When XmLink appears, configure your receiver and start FliteDeck.
F. In the Services Console, click File > Close.
Did the Jeppesen Weather Controller Update Fail?
In some cases a JWC update fails during a FliteDeck update when JWC doesn't shut
