Installing the Quad Port Bypass Server Adapter (Copper)

for Front Panel Access

The NSW1U-F and NSW1U-B IP network servers come with a front panel filler panel that has to be

removed and replaced with an escutcheon when installing a GbE LAN card, such as the Intel

®

PRO/

1000 AT Quad Port Bypass Server Adapter for Copper (NIC in front), for the first time. The chassis

cover and the front bezel must be removed to install or replace the LAN card and to connect the GbE

cables to the escutcheon. In addition, a special LAN card support bracket with a cable opening must

be used, replacing the factory-installed support bracket.
