Minimum Charges

Prompt Before Applying

When the

Prompt Before Applying

option is turned on, TransAct will ask if the minimum charge should

be applied, as a transaction is being completed.

TransAct will display the following dialog box as a transaction is being completed.

To replace the default charge with the minimum charge, click

Yes

. Any taxes will be recalculated using

the minimum charge. To accept the charge calculated using

Default Rates

, click

No

. To cancel the

transaction, click

Cancel

.

Apply As Lump Sum

By default a minimum charge is applied when the

Total Amount

calculated is less than the

Minimum

Charge

. In some cases the minimum charge is different for each

Rate Type

. For example,

Rate Type 1

may have a minimum charge of $5.00,

Rate Type 2

may have a minimum charge of $2.00, and

Rate

Type 3

may have a minimum charge of $.50. When minimum charges are calculated separately for each

rate type, turn the

Apply as Lump Sum

feature off (an

‘X’

does not appear in the box to the left of the

feature).
