Maintenance
To fit a new lamp carry out the procedure in reverse.
1. Connect a new lamp to the connector.
2. Install the lamp with the connector in the lamp holder.
3. Secure the lamp with the clamp slide. To do this, push the
connector downwards and push the clamp slide as far as
possible to the left.
4. Install the lamp holder in the instrument.
Note: Take care that the lamp cable is not pinched by the cable
guide.
5. Using a cross-head screwdriver, tighten the two screws on
the lamp holder.
6. Put the lamp compartment cover back into position.
7. Using a slotted screwdriver, tighten the screws on the cover.
8. Connect the power cable to the instrument.
9. Reset the lamp operating time
section 6.1.8, page 93 .
7.3 Cell compartment (2) replacement
If there is severe soiling, the complete cell compartment (2) can
be replaced.
N O T I C E
Only hold lamp at lamp holder. Avoid touching the glass, as
substances on the skin can bake onto the lamp bulb and thus
accelerate the ageing process of the lamp.
C A U T I O N
To avoid electric shock, disconnect the instrument from the power
supply before replacing the cuvette compartment.
