NOTE:

When the temperature of a power module exceeds the acceptable range, the power module
automatically powers off. When the temperature returns to the acceptable range, the power module
automatically powers on.

When the input voltage exceeds the overvoltage protection threshold of the power module, the power
module performs overvoltage protection and provides no power.

DC input terminal blocks

If the power distribution box is far away from the rack, you can order an extension cable and a DC input

terminal block to supply power to the device.
A DC input terminal block provides eight pairs of terminals. Each pair uses two wires to provide DC

power supply. A maximum of eight pairs of wires are supported.
The LSXM1DCPDL DC input terminal block is available for the switch.

Fan trays

The S12500-X switch comes with two fan trays installed.
Order the fan trays compatible with your switch if necessary.

Air filters

CAUTION:

Clean air filters a minimum of once every three months to guarantee adequate ventilation and avoid
over-temperature.

The air filter is an optional accessory.
You can install air filters at the air inlet vents of the chassis to prevent dust from entering the switch.

S12510-X AC & S12510-X DC switches—Air inlet vents are located below the plastic panel at the
lower part of the front panel.
