Installing cards
Unless otherwise stated, MPUs, LPUs, and switching fabric modules are collectively referred to as "cards"
in this document.
The cards available for the switch are hot swappable. For the cards available for the switch, see
"Appendix B FRUs and compatibility matrixes."
After you install all the required cards, you can start the switch and view the card operating states by
observing the card status LEDs on the MPU. For more information about the card status LEDs, see
"Appendix C LEDs."
