Data Store Upgrades

Follow the steps listed here in the order they are presented. The online
upgrade procedures are:

2. Disconnect

all

production

applications connected to the data
store. Any workload being run on the
upgrade system must start running on
the active system instead.

Use the

ttRepAdmin

utility to pause

replication from the data store

active

to the data store

upgrade

:

ttRepAdmin -connStr DSN=active

-receiver -name upgrade

-state pause

This command temporarily stops the
replication of updates from the data
store

active

to the data store

upgrade

, but it retains any updates

made to

active

in the data store log

files. The updates made to

active

during the upgrade procedure are
applied later, when

upgrade

is
