Touring the Software
Allow the application to be minimized. Enables minimization of the xPONENT
®
software so that the computer’s desktop can be accessed. If this check box is clear, the
application’s minimize button will not function.
Ignore user permission when attempting to exit software. Enables the user to exit the
xPONENT software, regardless if permission has been granted in the User Setup tab.
Add header when exporting data from grids. Adds a header row when exporting the
data.
Allow 3D View. Enables the 3D view in the Current Batch tab of the Results page.
LIS Settings
This setting is only for those using xPONENT
®
with a Lab Information System (LIS).
Connect to LIS. Enables connection to the LIS.
Browse. Opens the Browse For Folder dialog box. Select a location for the system to
watch for incoming orders.
External Analysis Program Settings
This option is for those using a program other than xPONENT to analyze collected data.
Installed Analysis Programs. Lists the analysis programs currently installed.
Add New. Opens the New External Analysis Program dialog box.

Browse. Opens another dialog box to select the file location for the third-party analysis
program. The selected location appears in the Path box, and the name displays in the
Name box.
Command Line Parameters. Type the command line parameter for what parameters you
