8. The Location field displays the location for the item selected in the
Item tab portion of this screen. If you want to change the location,
place the new location in the Location field. (Locations are limited to
the downloaded location list.) (If you did not mark the Show Pull
Down Lists check box in the CE Client Setup screen, the Location
field will not contain a drop-down arrow or a selection list. You must
scan or enter the data into the field.)
9. The Qty field displays the new pick quantity. Enter the item amount
being picked for this pick order in the Qty field.
10. If your system uses multiple units of measure, you may select a unit of
measure by tapping the drop-down arrow in the field next to the quan-
tity field. (If you did not mark the Show Pull Down Lists check box in
the CE Client Setup screen, the field will not contain a drop-down
arrow or a selection list. You must scan or enter the data into the field.)
Unit of measure selection is limited to the downloaded list.
11. The Serial No. field appears if your system uses serial numbers and
you have not downloaded item data (in this case, the system assumes
all items are serialized) or, if you have downloaded item data, and you
are picking a serialized item. In this case, you must enter a unique serial
number for each item being picked in the Serial No. field. This means
that an order with a pick quantity of five requires five serial numbers to
be recorded for the item, one at a time, at a quantity of one each. You
will be prompted to enter each serial number individually for the item
amount. If a duplicate serial number is entered, you will be warned and
prompted to enter a unique serial number. If you exit the serial number
collection procedure before the amount of serial numbers recorded
equals the picked quantity you will receive a warning telling you that
you have not entered enough serial numbers and asking you if you want
to continue. If you select yes, the transaction will not be processed at
this time, and you will be taken back to the quantity field for the order,
to input a different amount.
