Auto Pick Existing Order: Add new
order detail to an existing picking
order, or change the order detail in
an existing picking order at the
handheld device Open orders in the system (via downloaded order data or
newly added orders) will be available for selection.
The Customer Bill To ID and the Customer Ship To ID
cannot be changed.
The line number is checked to make sure it is unique to
the order in the downloaded order detail.
If item data was downloaded, item selection is limited to
the list of downloaded items.
If item data was not downloaded, any item entry is
allowed and item numbers are not validated.
If inventory data was downloaded, inventory is validated
for all applicable values (serial number, lot, expiration
date, unit of measure, quantity). If inventory is not found,
a warning message appears, but allows you to continue
picking the inventory.
If inventory was not downloaded, the warning does not
appear.
The location selection is limited to the downloaded loca-
tion list.
The unit of measure selection is limited to the down-
loaded UOM list.
Inventory Physical Count: Records
the on hand quantity of items in
locations.
Inventory Cycle Count: Records the
on hand quantity of items in loca-
tions for a specified period. The location selections are limited to the downloaded
location list.
If item data was downloaded, item selection is validated.
If the item is not found, a warning appears, but allows you
to continue adding the item.
If item data was not downloaded, any item entry is
allowed and item numbers are not validated.
Inventory data is not validated. All values are accepted
for the inventory detail (such as serial number, lot, expira-
tion date, UOM, and quantity). The unit of measure selec-
tions (UOM) are limited to the downloaded list. The qty
(or count) is recorded as the new On Hand quantity.
When it is uploaded to the workstation application, it is
recorded as the Inventoried quantity or the On Hand
quantity in the Inventory Data form, depending on your
system settings in the System Options form/Options tab
in the workstation application.
