Installing the CE Client

Once you complete the Batch installation prerequisites, including:

Determining your Remote Data Access Setup;

Installing IIS;

Installing ActiveSync or Windows Device Center Software and estab-
lishing a partnership between your computer and your device;

Applying the required firewall exceptions (see

“Applying Firewall

Exceptions” on page 20

);

Installing the IntelliTrack workstation application and configuring IIS
dependencies; and

Determining your Device Installation;

you are ready to install the ISRP application to the handheld device.

Follow the instructions in

“Installing the CE Client” on page 47

to install the

CE Client application on the handheld device.

Reaching your Device Installer

Download the installer from the IntelliTrack website at the Hardware Sup-
port Matrix For more information about reaching the mobile device
installer please refer to the next section:

“Retrieving your Device Installer

from the Hardware Support Matrix” on page 49

To download your device installer from the Hardware Support Matrix,
please follow these steps:

To download your device installation from the IntelliTrack Hardware
Support Matrix: open your Internet browser and go to the following
address:

www.intellitrack.net

. The IntelliTrack website Home page

appears. From the IntelliTrack website, select Support > Hardware
Support Matrix
from the menu bar. The Hardware Support Matrix
page appears.
Or, open the Batch Portable Utility via the ISRP workstation. Select
Portable > Synchronize CE Device > Synchronize CE Device to
open the Batch Utility. From the Batch Utility, select CE Portable >
