have complete access to all forms, reports, queries, macros, and tables that
are part of the IntelliTrack system.

Installation
and

Please refer to the IntelliTrack Stockroom Quick Start Guide for installa-
tion and upgrade instructions.

The IntelliTrack installation CD includes a run-time (limited) version of
Microsoft Access. The run-time version allows full use of IntelliTrack and
all of its features, but does not allow changes to be made to the database
structure nor the design of custom reports or special queries.

To customize IntelliTrack beyond the built in features and setup options,
you must install a full version of Access.

It is usually a good idea for end users to use the run-time version so that the
database structure is not accidentally modified. An administrator (with
Access programming experience) should use the same database files
(ITSTOCK7.ACCDB) in full Access design mode to make modifications
to the IntelliTrack Stockroom database if required.

Note the software serial number of this product because you will need this
information during registration and activation. (Your software serial num-
ber is found on your product packaging.)

IntelliTrack DMS contains a license service to track your software’s regis-
tration and activation status. The license service is installed with your
product and runs automatically. You must register and activate DMS to use
the fully licensed version of DMS software. Please have your product
serial number available when you register and activate DMS. You may reg-
ister or activate IntelliTrack DMS by using the license manager or the Int-
elliTrack website registration page, or by calling IntelliTrack technical
support. If you register your product with the license manager, the activa-
tion process is automatic. If you register your product by using the Intelli-
Track website registration page or by calling IntelliTrack technical
support, the activation process is not automatic. With these two options,
you will receive a license file that is used to activate your product. Please
refer to your Quick Start Guide for more information on the registration
and activation process.

Upgrading the
v5.1 and v5.2
Database

For the v5.1 or v5.2 SQL version, the data is automatically upgraded dur-
ing installation. We recommend backing up your existing database
BEFORE installing DMS v7.0.
