• The following cost tracking options become enabled when the cost
tracking feature is enabled; select the desired method of cost track-
ing:
Average: the system calculates the average cost for received items
in the current inventory.
Last Cost: the system uses the last entered cost for a received item
in the current inventory for cost tracking.
Highest Cost: the system uses the greatest cost for the received item
in the current inventory for cost tracking.
Least Cost: the system uses the lowest cost for the received item in
the current inventory.
Show Object name in Title Bar: If this feature is enabled, the name of
the object (form, dialog boxes, etc.) appears in the title bar of each Int-
elliTrack form. If this feature is turned off, IntelliTrack is only dis-
played in the title bar.
Caution: Switchable items like History Logging, Pictures, and Sites alter
the way IntelliTrack operates. Determine how best to implement Intelli-
Track by testing with sample data prior to purging the sample data and
using real data.
Caution: With the exception of Pictures, once switches are enabled, don’t
disable them or the result may be “Mixed Data”, which can lead to con-
flicts or unexpected results.
Security Enabled: Enable this check box to activate security; this will
enforce the privileges defined in the Security Privileges form. If this
check box is disabled, no security restriction will be enforced and all
defined privileges will be ignored (for more information, please see
Security later in this chapter).
Pictures: If Pictures is enabled, Pictures are visible when adding and
querying item definitions. Disabled this option when not using pictures.
This switch can be turned either way (on or off), whether or not there
are pictures stored with item definitions.
• None: Pictures not viewable on the Issue or Receipts
forms.Receipts: Pictures are viewable on the Receipts forms.Issues:
Pictures are viewable on the Issues forms.All: Pictures are viewable
on the Issue or Receipts forms.
