Lots/Cust/Serial#: You can track Lots or Serial Numbers for each
inventory item in a location. To track Lots with Inventory or track
Serial#, enable the Lots/Cust/Serial# check box.
Expiration Dates: IntelliTrack tracks expiration dates with or without
Lots for inventory stored in locations. To track Expiration Dates or
other Dates, enable the Expiration Dates check box. If this check box
is disabled, inventory is default date stamped 1/1/20 (January 1, 1920).

Note: Select Tools > User Titles > Inv By Location Titles from the com-
mand tab bar to change the User Titles for Lot and Expiration Dates.

Sum Inventory on View: The Sum Inventory on View check box
affects only the View Inventory feature (refer to

“View/Analyze Data”

on page 151

). If you enable the Sum Inventory on View check box,

when you open the View Inventory form, the quantity information is
updated (this method gives a slower system response).

If you don’t enable the Sum Inventory on View check box, the
quantity information may not be accurate. When you select or high-
light an item in the View Inventory form, the quantity is updated
immediately to reflect the current quantity on-hand (this method
provides a faster system response).

Use 24 Hour Times: The time format displayed here must match the
time format set in the Windows Regional Settings control panel.
History Logging: Enable History Logging to generate an on-going
history of transactions occurring throughout the system. History reports
use the data generated by turning this switch on.

When using the system just for Inventory and Cycle counts, and no
history reports are needed, turn this switch off to optimize system
performance.

Log History Totals: Enable this check box to log totals of an item at
the site to the history log. History logging must be enabled for this
option to be enabled. If enabled, each history entry gives the total of
that item at that site and places it in the history table.
In some cases, enabling this check box can have a negative impact on
the speed of processing. If there are a lot of locations at a site, each site
must be checked to determine if the logged item is stored there and the
total of all locations is logged to the history table. If you don’t need this
information, leave this check box disabled.
Cost Tracking: This option becomes enabled if History Logging is
selected. Check this box to enable Cost Tracking of items. This feature
enables you to track the unit cost during inventory receipt.
